Tracking your contract import status (Import History)

Overview

Because contract imports run in the background, Spendflo gives you a place to check on them at any time: Import History. This article covers what you'll find there.

Opening Import History

You can open Import History two ways:

• Click the Import History button on the toast notification that appears right after you start an import
• Click Import History from the Contracts page header

It opens as a side panel — you don't need to leave the Contracts page.

Import list (left panel)

Shows every import job for your organization, most recent first, with:

• The uploaded file's name
• Status — in progress (with live progress, e.g. “Importing 100 of 143…”), Completed, or Failed. Failed imports show a red error label.
• A relative timestamp (e.g. “Today · 2h 30m ago”, “Last week”)

Import detail (right panel)

Click any job in the list to see its details:

• File name and object type/date group (e.g. “Contracts — April”)
• Import ID
• Status — Done, In Progress, or Failed
• Accounts — total records added (e.g. “143 Added”)
• Import by — the email of whoever started the import
• Imported on — the full timestamp

Notifications

You'll get an in-app notification when your import finishes, whether it completes successfully or fails. Email notifications aren't available for imports yet.

Who can see this

Import History and the underlying import action are only available to users with the Administrator role, who can see every import job for the organization.
